We believe in the Holy Ghost, who was sent from God the Father and the son. That the Holy Spirit convicts and converts sinners,
dwells in the believer, keeps the believer from the power of sin and leads him to the Father through His Son - Jesus Christ.
We believe the Bible is the Word of God given by inspiration through Holy men. That in the Bible, God seeks to reveal his will to
man and man seeks to respond to God's revelation. We believe the Bible to be the final authority to any spiritual question(s) or
issue(s) that may arise.
We believe that the union of the Father, Son and Holy Ghost is revealed through His church, founded on the day of Pentecost, and
that all believers are united into one body, the Church. We believe that Christ is coming back for His Holy Church, without spot or
wrinkle, and that without holiness in spirit, body and soul, no many shall see God.
We believe in the Apostle's Creed as stated in such manner: We believe in God, the Father Almighty, creator of heaven and earth;
and in Jesus Christ, His only Son, our Lord, who was conceived by the Holy Ghost, born of the Virgin Mary, suffered under
Pontius Pilate, was crucified, died and was buried. He descended into hell, the third day He arose again from the dead. He ascended
into Heaven, sitteth at the right hand of God, the Father Almighty, from thence He shall come to judge the living and the dead.
We believe in the Holy Ghost, the Holy Catholic (universal, one) Church; the communion of Saints, the forgiveness of sin, the
resurrection of the body and life everlasting.
About Us
We believe in the Father, who is God Almighty, the Creator of
all things and the preserver of light and life.
We believe in the Son, who is Jesus Christ, God's only begotten
Son. He was human and Divine, truly lived suffered and died,
rose again from the dead, ascended on high and is coming again.
We believe that Jesus was sent by God to man, that whosoever
believeth in Him shall not perish, but have everlasting life. John
3:16.

Choir's Christmas Concert: The sanctuary of the Love Center Church was filled to its capacity with an overflowing capacity
crowd to witness the Love Center's Combined Choir's Christmas Concert on Sunday, December 18th, 2011. I'm proud to say as
pastor and organist that as the choir's membership is at a standstill, the singing is sounding better than ever, which gives each
choir member on roll, encouragement that God is still using these dedicated voices. This year's concert was the best ever presented
in the Love Center Church. I'm still getting calls about the selection of songs, as well as how high the Spirit was, and how each
lead and background singer "poured" their hearts out in each song. I've seen people join the choir and for reasons known and
unknown, no longer have a desire to be a part of such a dynamic group. Your contribution has been greatly appreciated, and yet we
look forward to bigger and better things in year 2012. I'm blessed to have such a dynamic minister of music, musicians and
singers, and want the readers of this column to know we are yet encouraged and will survive. To the combined choir members I
would like to say "a job well done, be encouraged, don't look back and keep marching towards the prize.

In Memory
It is with sadness of heart that I write to inform you that my Pastor, Dad, Friend, Confidant and Church Overseer, Rev.
Lawrence Curtis Roberts, went home to be with the Lord on Monday, July 14, 2008. Words alone cannot express the
role Rev. Roberts played in my life. It was Rev. Roberts who encouraged me in the ministry at a very crucial moment in
my life. His words to me when I felt like I had made a mistake by entering the ministry, let alone pastorship was: "If
God called you - then you can't quit."
A lasting bond ensued from our meeting, and as a result of Rev. Roberts and his lovely wife, Bootsy's, encouragement
and support to the Love Center ministry, we were able to build a new edifice and dedicate it in year 2003. Rev. Robert's
appear on the choir's latest CD entitled "Music for the Church," along with his wife Bootsy. He will be greatly missed
by this congregation, and we vow to keep his memory alive.
